Identity in Scripture  9 week Bible Study  Identity has been heavy on my heart for some time now.  We have books that talk about identity in Christ and we have studies that take us through the Bible chronologically, I had been looking for a Bible study that combined both and focused on identity IN scripture. There really wasn't anything and that surprised me, identity is crucial to the foundation we build in Christ and its woven throughout scripture from beginning to end.  This is my first self made Bible study and I hope you join me on the journey of solidifying who you are in Christ and forming a foundation in scripture that will be key in your walk with God.

    Ya'll there is a Jesus shift in the atmosphere and it is happening within me as well as with others.       More and more people are searching for God in the midst of this chaotic and evil world. Through social media, through church, through others. People need more, there is a thirst for connection. This connection is not found in drugs or alcohol, it is not found in earthly possessions or human relationships (of any kind). This thirst is one that craves a deep and supernatural connection, a connection to someone or something bigger than ourselves, a thirst that our spirit and soul need quenched.      Now that I have your attention let me give you some background before we dive in. WOW, does God move. He don't play around. I gotta write about this before I forget too many details (thank you adhd). I had secured a last minute spot at a women's group meet up called Couch Therapy (7/30/25). The women that attend this, the majority attend my church, meet once a month. This isn't just a one time event. Every last Tuesday of the month the ladies meet to discuss topics, connect, heal and have a safe space to talk through anything. The event had been marked sold out (it's free but you need to reserve your spot), and my mom was a bit sad she couldn't go with me (she is visiting from FL). I got home after work and I went to check the details for the time and address; this was something I knew I couldn't arrive late for.
